In 2010 THEATRE IS…and Throwdown UK collaborated in a fusion of breakin’, locking, popping, spoken word and music to develop a production entitled ‘Epiphany’.

Epiphany explores the moment in our personal histories when we find our ‘element’, the place we love to be; where our passion meets our talent.

Epiphany focused on the lives of B boy Bugz, Rowdy and Charlie Blue as they used the medium of theatre to expose their battle against violence and bigotry and strived to make their dreams come true.

Epiphany's journey began at The Junction, Cambridge followed by Royal & Derngate, Northampton and arrived at The Hat Factory, Luton, which THEATRE IS… made its new home in 2011.
